loveless studios: loveless studios is an independent creative studio founded by jess loveless. “I push organisations to do better, because we need radical change. So many people are shut out of institutions that should – and could – belong to them. Art and culture is so much more interesting and exciting when there is a proper mix of people creating it. Rooms are brighter, shows are livelier, conversations are warmer. I’ve always challenged the status quo, but I was fatigued by my attempts to change things from inside organisations that I never felt a part of myself. I’ve gone independent to dismantle systems and structures that keep people at arms length and to help organisations wake up and budge over! I have a strong ear and eye, having spent fifteen years producing multi-disciplinary events, and incorporate spatial design to create spaces that are inspiring, warm, and communal.“

institutional consultancy & masterclasses: research and experience-led workshops, masterclasses, and strategic consultancy for arts and culture organisations. based on experience: advising institutions on youth engagement; how to move past surface-level inclusion and tick-box community engagement; design of youth-led, co-production models; and introductions to values-based (as opposed to deficit) models. experience includes production of sector reports for UK music/ music education organisations, strategic recommendations, cultural needs analyses for arts organisations/venues, and senior management training in the above.
