jess loveless
Founder and Creative Director
jess loveless is a cultural producer, curator and writer. She has produced live music events, exhibitions, festivals, symposiums, roundtables and more, and has designed a range of short and long term artist development programmes.
After almost twenty years in the arts and culture sector, jess founded Loveless Studios in order to develop new ways of leading arts organisations and to explore a range of exciting new collaborations with artists, organisations and partners.

jess has worked with a number of partners, collaborators and clients, including Roundhouse, Rich Mix, Battersea Arts Centre, Amy Winehouse Foundation, Tate Britain, Greater London Authority, Hackney Empire, Arts Council England, Young Vic, and more.
With a Masters degree in Education and Social Justice, jess’ research findings are intertwined with the work we do at Loveless Studios. The value of lived experience and a core belief in social justice are at the centre of the work we produce.
A former trustee herself, jess has also worked with several organisations to create routes into governance for people who are often shut out of these spaces, including young people and local communities.
As a freelancer, jess has experience delivering a range of services to clients, including, but not limited to:
- design and implementation of creative development programmes
- live content curation and production
- research, consultation, survey and strategy design
- audience development and community engagement
- youth participation and governance
- facilitation and consultation
- staff training in facilitation and youth voice
